Please note, Lavio is offering to the user all the services and plans with a number of login applications. This login can be accessed on any device that is listed by Lavio. And once a device and application are used for login, it cannot be changed unless a REVOKE option is used. Henceforth, wherever we have discussed our plans and services, we have mentioned as an offering of the device’ in place of ‘login application’. [correct this sentence]

 

What are the devices supported by Lavio?

 

Lavio has multiple device options available to help you make your own choice, like;

Laptops/ PC/ MacBook, All devices supporting Android Mobile or Tablets, iOS Mobile or iPAD, All Smart TV’s supporting Android, Samsung Tizen TV, Samsung Smart TV (Android-based), LG WebOS TV, LG Smart TV (Android-based). And not only this, and we also support devices like the Amazon Fire TV stick and Apple TV

 

How do I access Lavio on web browser?

Please note – If you are choosing a single device subscription then a web browser is the best choice so that you can enjoy all the services that will always be initially launched on web browser first. However please be informed that we do not have ‘offline download ‘ option available on a web browser.

Lavio can be accessed on multiple browsers like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Chromium by Google, Vivaldi, Torch Browser

How do I access Lavio on Android based mobile/tablet

Lavio can be streamed on any Android based Mobile/Tablet using browser or mobile app

USING Mobile: Download the android mobile app LAVIO from the google play store.

Open the app and get registered using the signup link.

USING MacBook: You can surf using Safari browser or one of the browsers listed on Lavio

How do I access Lavio on Fire TV stick/ Apple TV/ Smart TV or other TV listed on Lavio?

You will need to mandatorily register with a Browser or Mobile device to get access to any TV listed on Lavio. Hence you need to subscribe for minimum of 2 devices.

Register using the Browser or Mobile app. If you have chosen only 2 devices in your subscription plan then Browser is the best option to choose because Lavio launches all its new features primarily on Browser first. One drawback for opting Browser is that it does not have offline download feature.

Firestick: Download the LAVIO app installed in the firestick device

Apple TV: Down load the LAVIO App installed in the App Store.

Andriod TV:  Down load the LAVIO App installed in the Google Play Store.

 

Open the installed App and login with the same username and password you have used to register in Browser or Mobile.

If you are registered user, you can watch the limited content for free.

If you are the subscribed user, you can enjoy the Lavio features as per your plan.

 

Which versions of Android is supported?

Android 5.0X and above

 

Which versions of iOS is supported?

iOS version 8.0 above.

 

Which web browsers are supported by Lavio?

Lavio can be accessed on multiple browsers like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Chromium by Google, Vivaldi, Torch Browser

 

Which Smart tvs are supported by Lavio

All Smart TV’s supporting Android, Samsung Tizen TV, Samsung Smart TV (Android based), LG WebOS TV, LG Smart TV (Android based). And not only this, we also support devices like Amazon Fire TV stick and Apple TV

 

How can I stream Lavio on my TV?

You can stream Lavio on list of smart tv given by Lavio. If not Smart TV then you can stream using fire TV stick or Apple TV.

Can I watch programs on more than one device?

Yes, provided you have subscribed to multiple login option/device option.

You can watch the programs of your choice simultaneous on the subscribed devices with the same login id.

Can I watch different programs on different devices at the same time with one account?

Yes, if you have subscribed to multiple devices, you can watch the programs of your choice simultaneous on the subscribed devices with the same login id.

Can I access Apple Tv for streaming?

Yes, provided you have subscribed for multiple device and Apple tv is one of your devices.

What is multiple device or login subscription plans.

Lavio has various multi device /login plans, please refer to our subscription page for details.

With the multi device or application subscription,

1.user can choose to access one application per device, maintaining the number of devices logged in as the subscribed plan.

Example: for 2 login/device plan, user can choose devices/application as in “A” or “B” below.

A. User can choose chrome browser on Laptop and Mobile App on any Mobile.

B. Mobile App on Android mobile and Browser on Ios device.

 

OR

2. user can choose multiple application on single device, maintaining the number of applications logged in as the subscribed plan.

 

Example: for 2 login/device plan, user can choose devices/application as in “A” or “B” below.

A. User can choose chrome browser and edge browser on laptop

B. Mobile browser or Mobile App.

 

OR

3. In case of more than 2 device subscription, user can choose 1,2 above or multiple application from different devices [ maintaining the count of the number of applications/devices logged as in the subscription plan]

Guidelines to choose the device for multidevice or application subscription plan.

Based on the subscription plan you choose; you can stream from as many devices as applicable in the chosen plan, meeting the guideline below.

Choose the device[s] you wish you login in, Once the device is logged in, that device is considered as your authenticated device and locked by Lavio for your access.

 

Example:

Once user is subscribed to let’s say 2 devices, user can access 2 devices simultaneously with the same login.  Your first time logged in device will be considered as device of your choice.

For example: In case of 2 devices, let’s say you log in to laptop edge browser, followed by mobile app, then you will be able to stream from these two applications of these devices. Your access to any other devices or applications on the same devices will be denied.

You can choose to change the device/application with the revoke option.

Can I watch UHD/4k Movies on Lavio?

Yes, Lavio streams UHD[4k] content also. In order to watch the 4k content, user needs to subscribe to the 4k plan, should have internet with minimum bandwidth of 23 Mbps and device on which user is streaming the content should be 4k supported.

Please refer to the subscription plan.

Note: Not all the content streamed are 4k.

Does Lavio support Parental lock feature?

Yes, Lavio provides the Parental lock control features for both the registered and subscribed users.

Lavio’s Parental lock feature also gives the flexibility for the user to lock the content as per their choice for the unlocked content.

Is Parental Lock and Lavio Lock same?

No Parental lock is about restricting a content from being watched and can be accessed by entering a numeric pass-code as a PIN.

Lavio Lock is a account security feature provided by Lavio. If your account credentials are compromised, the individual cannot access your account because Lavio has enabled access to your account only with the device chosen by you (It can be accessed only on the device you had signed-in first time)

 

Does Lavio Support HDR-Dolby vision?

Yes, HDR-Dolby vision movies are supported. In order to watch the HDR-dolby content, you need to be subscribed to HDR-dolby Supported plan, your device should be HDR-Dolby compatible and content streamed should be HDR content.

 

Does Lavio support content download for watching offline (offline download feature)?

You can download the content only from mobile applications such as Mobile phone and tablets/ iPAD.  The downloaded content resides in the Lavio app and can be accessed offline.

Note: download to watch offline facility is not available in any browser applications and any other TV enabled application listed by Lavio (like Google Chrome or Edge, Smart TV or Fire TV stick).

 

How can I access the downloaded videos?

User can access the downloaded videos from the “My Lavio” link on the top right corner.

Click on the User icon on top-right corner to access a drop down menu, then click “Offline Downloads” from the list.

If you have downloaded any number of movie then clicking on the offline download will enlist all the downloaded movies with the expiry.

 

Do Offline download videos have expiry?

Yes, offline downloaded videos have expiry. The expiry is set as per your subscription plan.

You can check the expiry duration over the offline download page that enlists the videos that have been downloaded.

Does Lavio Support X-ray (or Xray)?

Yes, Lavio Supports the X-ray feature. X-ray can be accessed on the top left corner of the video player while playing the content.

 

How to control the video speed?

Click on the setting icon on the bottom left corner of the video player, this pops up the Speed option. Click on the speed option, this pops up the list for speed control, select the speed you wish to set.

Generally it is recommended to watch at normal speed.

How to set the resolution of the video.

Click on the settings icon on the bottom left corner of the video player, this pops up the Quality option, clicking the quality option pops up the   list of resolution for that video. Select the resolution you wish to set. Auto option would let video adapt the speed as per the network bandwidth (internet speed). However if you are confident about your internet speed then you can select a fixed resolution to enjoy seamless clarity in picture.

Recommended option: Auto option.

 

How to select the audio track with the video.

Click on the setting icon on the bottom left corner of the video player, this pops up the audio track option if available for that video. Click the audio track option and this pops up the list for the available audio tracks for that video, select the audio track you wish to set.

Note: Every content streamed may not have audio tracks.

 

Can we see the video with the subtitles?

Yes. Click on the setting icon on the bottom left corner of the video player, this pops up subtitles option, on clicking the subtitles the list for the available subtitles for that video. Select the subtitle you wish to set.

Note:  All the content streamed may not have subtitles.

 

Is the forward/rewind feature supported?

Yes. Every video player has 10seconds of forward and rewind option, this is a manual selection option which can be seen on hovering the mouse over the screen of player while playing the video.

 

How to Access the parental lock feature?

On clicking the content which is parental locked, user need to set the lock for the first time by clicking on the popup window which appears on clinking the play option of the locked movie.

Once the lock is set user can use this pin every time to unlock the movie.

User can change the pin and set the lock for the unlocked movies too.

Can I access the content offline?

Yes, content can be downloaded on mobile apps. These downloaded content can be accessed offline.

 

Does Lavio Support Adaptive bit rate streaming

Yes, Lavio Adapts to the bit rate as per the network bandwidth (like internet speed) for the user to view the content seamlessly.

 

Can I add the content to favourite list and how can I access my favourite list?

Click on the program/ movie to reach movie page. On this page you will see “Favourite” option in the Lavio program details section, Click on this  favourite to add the content to Favourite.

Can I create a playlist?

Yes. Click on the program/ movie to reach movie page. On this page you will see “Add to playlist” option in the Lavio program details section. You can select and add movie to existing playlist or else create a playlist and add to it.

 

How can I access the favourite list ?

User can access the favourite list from the “My Favourite” icon in the “My Lavio” page on the top right corner of the home page.

 

How can I access the movie added in the playlist

User can access the favourite list from the “My Playlist” icon in the “My Lavio” page on the top right corner of the home page.

 

Can I add comments to the movie?

Yes. Select the program/ movie and you will reach the movie page. On this page you will  find the option “Comment” below the Lavio program details section.

User can add comment using this option or can also reply to existing comments.

 

Does Lavio Support Dolby audio

Yes, Lavio Supports Dolby Atmos audio with VOD, Provided the device supports Dolby atmos surround sound and the streamed content has the Dolby atmos audio

 

Does Lavio support HI-RES for audio streaming

Lavio player supports Dolby atmos and HI_RES is not supported.

Can I share the video links?

Yes, a user can share the video links with the share option available on the Lavio program detail page.

 

How can I search for a program or movie?

User can use the search option available on the top right corner on the home page.

You can search for title, Categories, Genre and people.

 

What is self revoke /How do I change my locked device to another device?

Revoke if the flexibility given to user to change the locked device to access Lavio.

Lavio locks the device[s] chosen by the user to access the Lavio site for the security reasons. Please check the Faq on “login-based restriction” to understand more about the locked device.

Lavio gives the flexibility to the change the device once a month. The number of revokes [or chances to change the devices] are based on your subscription plan.

You can exercise the revoke functionality from the same device which you want to change.

 

How do I exercise the self -revoke feature?

Please read the Faq on “what is Revoke” before exercising it.

You can exercise the revoke functionality from the same device which you want to change.

For ex: If your locked device is mobile browser and you want to change the device, you can sign-in to mobile browser, go to setting under My Lavio, you can find the “Device Details” with the Revoke against each device. Click on the Revoke beside the Mobile Browser login listed. Once clicked device will be automatically logged out. You can now login to device of your choice and lock it.

Is revoke facility available on all devices?

Yes. Any device can be revoked and switched to another device.

Is there a restriction on number of self-Revokes and How do I know my number of self-revokes requests?

The number of revokes applicable are based on your subscribed plan.

1. You can check the details in the subscribed plan

2. You can go to settings under My Lavio, At the end of the settings page, you can find the limit of your revokes “Available Self Revoke Request[s] :#”

Can I revoke the device if My self-revokes are lapsed?

Yes. You can click on the Revoke option against the device, fill in the form with valid reason and click “Revoke”. Now since the self-revokes are lapsed, the form will be submitted to Admin.

Based on the reason specified of revoke, Admin can approve of disapprove your request accordingly.

 

How do I register to Lavio?

Register or SignUp option is available only in Browser and “Mobile App” applications. Hence you can use either Laptop/ PC/ MacBook or Mobile phone App as listed by Lavio.

Login on to the site https://lavio.in or open the mobile app.

On the home page you can find “Register here” link to the top right corner. You can click on this link and fill up the details.

You will receive an email with verification link. The registration will get authenticated upon clicking the verification link.

 

Why do I need to register?

Registration is mandatory for the security reasons.

How do I sign-in?

Once you register, click on the icon on top right corner of home page.

Fill the Sign in form using your registered email id or phone number. Fill the password you had provided during registration.

 

Can I change my registered phone number?

Yes. Click on the My profile on the top right corner of the home page. This lists the details including the phone number; you can edit the phone number using the edit icon next to phone number.

Can I watch the content without subscribing?

User can watch the free content after registration. Free content will be added soon to the Lavio site.

 

How do I subscribe to Lavio?

 

Firstly you will have to register with Lavio to be able to subscribe. Check “How do I register to Lavio?”  if you are not already registered.

Also, You may find it useful to complete the details in the My profile section.

 

Registered user can subscribe using the browser or Mobile app.

 Login on to the site https://lavio.in or open the mobile app,

 Sign in using the registered email ID or mobile number.

 Click the “GO-Premium” link on the home page. This will take you to the  subscription page. Lastly, select the plan of your choice and get subscribed.

 

Will I be charged for registration?

No, There are no charges for registration.

 

Can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription any time. Please be informed that we have no refund policy.

 

How do I upgrade the subscription plan when my current plan is active?

Yes. To upgrade the plan, cancel the existing plan and you can choose the plan of your choice to upgrade. To know more about how to cancel your subscription please look in to this FAQ details.

 

How do I Cancel my subscription?

You need to sign-in to your account and go to settings and click “Cancel Subscription” option.

 

Do I have to re-register after cancelling my subscription

As long as your email id and phone number remain same, there is no need to register again. You can sign-in with the same account and watch the free content or subscribe again.

 

What is the time period of my monthly subscription plan ***?

Monthly subscription is valid for one month from the date you have subscribed

For example, if you have subscribed on 17th of April. Your monthly subscription will be valid till 16th May.

If you have subscribed on 1st May, your subscription is valid till 31st of May.

 

Do I have any grace time in my payment subscription

Sorry, there is no grace time. However we intend to remind you in advance about the payment due and request you to maintain sufficient amount in your account to continue successful transaction.

 

Are the subscriptions recurring payments?

Yes, the subscriptions are recurring payments. You will be sent the consent notification 5 days prior to the payment is deducted.

 

Why is a phone number needed during registration?

A phone number is required to authenticate your identity. During registration, a one-time password [OTP] will be sent on the submitted phone number which the user needs to fill in the OTP pop-up window to complete the registration.

 

I don’t see an authentication email on the email id submitted during registration

Please check your spam folder. If you still see the issue, contact customer support.

 

How many devices can I access after subscribing?

It depends on your subscription plan. Please check your subscribed plan in MyProfile.

 

What is pay per view?

Pay per view are the exclusive movies, the registered or subscribed users can view by purchasing the mentioned charge on the movie details page, The charge is for 1 view of the movie. You cab purchase the movie multiple times till the movie exists on the Lavio platform.  The PPV movies are tagged as pay/view

 

Can I download my invoice for the payment made on the Lavio?

Yes, you can download your invoice in the Transactions for subscription under MyLavio.  You will also be sent an email with the invoice attached post the payment.

For PPV you can download it under “My Purchased Videos in MyLavio”

 

How do I access my profile?

Once you sign-in , you can access your profile in the My Profile section under  My Lavio at the top right corner of the page.

 

How do I update/edit My profile?

Go to My profile, you will find the edit icon next to MyProfile.

You can update or edit your profile by clicking the edit option.

 

Can I change the phone number provided during the registration?

Yes. Go to My profile section in My Lavio located on the top right corner of homepage. Once you have clicked My Profile, you will find the edit icon next to your phone number.

 

Can I stop the notifications?

Yes. In the settings option  in MyProfile, you will find the notifications auto selected, you can deselect the notification you wish to.

 

Can I upload my photo?

Yes, You can upload your photo through My profile section. For more information about My profile please check “How do I access my profile?” from FAQ

 

How do I change my password?

You can change password through the Change Password option under MyLavio .

 

What do I do If I forget my password?

You can find the Forgot Password option at end of the sign-in form.

You can click on this Forgot Password option and follow the instructions.

 

How do I set parental lock Pin

You can find the “Parental lock set pin” under setting in MyLavio.

Click on this and set the 4 digit pin of your choice.

This will be the common pin for all the parental locked videos.

 

How can I reset/change the Parental lock pin?

You can find the “Edit Parental Lock Pin” option under setting in MyLavio.

Click on this option and you will find the sub-option to Reset the parental lock pin.

 

What do I do If I forget Parental Lock pin ?

You can find the “Edit Parental Lock Pin” option under setting in MyLavio.

Click on this option and you will find the sub option “Forgot Parental Lock Pin” . Click on the “Forget Parental Lock Pin” and follow the instructions.

 

How do I set additional certificates for Parental lock?

You can find  “ Update Parental control “ option in setting under My Lavio.

Click on this like to set the certificates you wish to additionally lock.

 

Where can I find my subscription end date?

You can find the subscription end date in the My Profile section

Also, You can find it in your invoice.

 

Where can I find the video I have purchased?

You can find the video you have purchased with the details and option to download the invoice in

My purchased videos options are under My profile.
